'The Sudden springs out of a failing attempt to homage ‘Theme Song’ by Vito Acconci. An eerie stop motion Super 8 and video animation of fragments of textiles and beads falling intercuts with body movements on the floor.
The legs, beads and textile shapes reach up to their own explosion.
The music is an extract from ‘Mountain of Madness’ by Magic Lantern.
The Sudden Outpost is C.S. first solo exhibition in a private gallery.
It's conceived as a borderless journey. Elements from previous works, such as Mandala n.1 and Dio é Morto (fotogrammi) are hosted next to the new ones.
